Speaker's Profile

Dr. Cynthia Grant PhD, LCSW, MBA serves as the Head of Clinical at Grow Therapy. Cynthia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of practice, leadership & strategy experience in the behavioral health field. She has worked in hospitals, community mental health systems, private practice, research, and academic settings and has a love for all things related to quality improvement.

Cynthia’s interest in digital behavioral health began pre-pandemic when she helped pilot multiple mental health tech products to improve access to care and client outcomes at a community mental health center.  She made the leap into the start-up world in 2021 where she has focused on building and overseeing a quality infrastructure for telehealth providers in an effort to raise the bar for the profession.

Cynthia graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a degree in psychology & women’s studies, followed by a Master of Social Work and a PhD in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago, and an Executive MBA in Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver. She is the proud parent of two young men-- one who is active duty in the Army and another who is a budding software engineer.
