Speaker's Profile

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and proud Newark, NJ native with extensive experience working with people throughout the life span in a variety of settings within the community and my private practice. I recently obtained a Doctorate in Social Welfare in Clinical Social Work at New York University focused on extending trauma-informed care to disciplines. I also enjoy being a social work educator and a change maker in the mental health field towards continual destigmatization of mental health. No matter what position I am in, I am a person that is involved in all phases of change work - from direct service to systems level change.
