Based in the firm’s Denver office, Lauren advises a variety of clients in the healthcare, cannabis and psychedelic industries on regulatory, compliance, litigation, and enforcement issues.  As an active member of the firm’s Health Care Industry Team, Government Enforcement and Investigations Team, the State Attorney Generals Practice Team, and the Foley Cannabis Industry Team, Lauren is a creative and solutions oriented attorney with an arsenal of expertise at her disposal.  As both a regulatory attorney and litigator, Lauren brings a unique perspective to counseling clients with respect to business strategy, fraud and abuse protection, regulatory compliance matters, and investigation defense. Lauren’s healthcare experience includes regularly advising clients on a variety of complex federal and state regulatory requirements and strategies including response to, and compliance with, investigations and audits undertaken by federal and state regulatory and enforcement agencies, and litigation (including False Claims Acts and administrative challenges). Lauren is also well versed in issues relating to the corporate practice of medicine and referral-source contracting. Lauren counsels clients in the cannabis and psychedelic industries on licensing, regulatory compliance, general business, and the intersection of state and federal law.
