Founder and CEO, Holmusk
Nawal Roy is the founder and CEO of Holmusk. Nawal was inspired by the transformational power of data and technology while working in finance across Wall Street banks and McKinsey. He decided to apply this power to an urgent need—behavioral health. In 2015, this decision led to his founding Holmusk, a global real-world evidence and data analytics company building the world’s largest real-world evidence platform for mental and behavioral health.
Nawal drives the strategic direction of Holmusk and has successfully overseen the closing of a multiple rounds of financing, two acquisitions across the U.S. and U.K. and the launch of Holmusk’s flagship product NeuroBlu—a data analytics software powered by the world’s single source of truth for behavioral health real-world data. Nawal takes pride in having built a world-class team of experts in clinical psychology and data science who work together to realize Holmusk’s vision of better evidence for behavioral health.
In addition to leading Holmusk, Nawal is a board member for Health Brains Global Initiative (HBGI.org) and was a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council for Mental Health in 2021-22. Nawal holds an MA in economics from the University of Mumbai and a MS in quantitative analysis from the University of Cincinnati. He is a double PhD dropout.
