Speaker's Profile

Scott serves as the Chief Growth Officer at Wayspring, a value-based healthcare organization that provides medical, behavioral health, and social support services to people with complex needs. He joined Wayspring in 2019 from Sandbox Industries, a Chicago-based venture capital firm that manages the Blue Venture Fund. While there, he focused on investing in payor services companies that aimed to reduce the cost and enhance the quality of care and served as a Board Observer at Wayspring for two years. Before that, Scott worked in healthcare investment banking, focusing primarily on strategy and M&A for large health systems nationwide. He received his B.A. in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
