Andy Blackwell is a British neuroscientist and healthcare technology entrepreneur. He earned a Masters and Doctorate in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of St Andrews, where he focused on understanding the computational neural systems underlying human thought and behavior. In 2001, Andy joined The University of Cambridge, concentrating on innovative diagnostic and therapeutic approaches for common neuropsychiatric conditions. Transitioning from academia to entrepreneurship, Andy played a key role in creating two successful mental health and neuroscience companies: Cambridge Cognition and ieso.
