Alyssa Reisner is a Lead Director and Principal at CVS Health Ventures. In her role, she sources, evaluates, and executes strategic relationships with innovative companies to support new business models and consumer experiences.

Tricia Garland's health care and pharmacy business expertise has powered a career focused on helping others have access to quality, affordable care. As a senior leader in industry leading Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina's (Blue Cross NC) Strategy and Diversified Business Group, Tricia leverages deep knowledge of the priorities of the business and entrepreneurial savvy to move game changing deals from ideas to partnerships and portfolio assets. Her work directly led to the establishment of Blue Cross NC's Diversified Business Group as well as the largest acquisition in the company's 88-year history, expanding its geographic reach and capabilities. In the Strategy vertical, Tricia collaborates with executive leaders to drive an enterprise view of which capabilities and work are critical to achieve enterprise goals and align corporate funding. Building on her B.S. in Business Administration with a focus in healthcare strategy from the University of North Carolina's Kenan-Flagler Business School, Tricia is an active alumnus mentoring new professionals in addition to her professional contributions in industry publications and conferences.

Joe Castiglione

Principal Program Manager, Industry Initiatives, Blue Shield of California

Joe Castiglione is on the Industry Initiatives team at Blue Shield of California, where he works to scale and sustain health care innovation through industry collaboration and policy movement. His work focuses on building strategic partnerships that drive alignment and collective action on issues related to primary care, behavioral health integration, value-based payment, and social determinants. Prior to Blue Shield, he led stakeholder engagement as well as legislative and regulatory advocacy in Washington, DC for the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). Joe lives in San Francisco with his partner and fellow health care innovator, Seth. He has an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and a BA in International Economics from University of Texas at Austin.
