Dr. Katherine Grill is an internationally recognized neuroscientist and leader in youth mental health, having received more than 25 awards for her work in social impact and entrepreneurship. Her career centers on translating research into real-world impact to advance youth mental health in the digital age.She is the creator of the Stories, Science & Strategies™ framework for health communication on social media, a field of research she advances as an Affiliate Faculty member at the Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health at Loyola University Chicago. This work has earned her invitations to serve as a Collaborator at UCLA’s Center for Scholars & Storytellers and as a member of WHO Fides, a global network of healthcare influencers combating misinformation.Through her firm, Katherine Grill Consulting, she partners with government agencies and youth-serving organizations to design initiatives at the intersection of digital wellbeing and youth mental health. The firm supports research, health literacy campaigns, and youth–adult partnership models that elevate young people as leaders in public health. In collaboration with the New Mexico Department of Health, she produces a statewide YouTube series on teen mental health and leads the Department’s Youth–Adult Partnership Initiative.Previously, as Co-Founder and CEO of Neolth, Dr. Grill launched one of the first venture-backed digital mental health companies for teens and young adults, contributing to the development of the nascent field of tech-enabled wellbeing interventions for youth.
