About Me

Kenny Bednarek — known as "Kung Fu Kenny" — is one of the most decorated sprinters in the world, with a compelling story to support it. Entering the foster care system as a child and growing up in the small town of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Kenny's path to greatness required far more than physical talent — it demanded resilience, mental fortitude, and an unshakeable sense of purpose. He went from junior college underdog to two-time Olympic silver medalist (Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024), two-time Diamond League Champion, World Championship silver medalist, and ten-time Diamond League winner, currently ranked No. 2 globally in the men's 200m. His 2024 season was one of his finest, with four personal bests, a 19.57 at the Zurich Diamond League, and qualification for three Olympic teams (100m, 200m, 4x100m). Kenny credits his competitive edge not just to training and nutrition, but to the mental work that underpins everything. He speaks openly about his background because he believes where you come from doesn't define your ceiling — and he's committed to using his platform to inspire the next generation.
