Speaker's Profile

Jamie L. Evans, MD, MPH, DABOM is a triple boarded-certified physician in Psychiatry, Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She worked as a primary care physician at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in rural Northeastern North Carolina for the first half of her career, where she also provided behavioral health consultations to her colleagues. She currently serves as a Medical Director for Acute Care and Clinician Engagement at Array Behavioral Care. She also is a co-chair of Array’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee. She also serves as a member of the DEI Committee for the Association of Medicine and Psychiatry (AMP).  She retains professional interests in Psychiatric crisis work and Psychosomatic Medicine, as well as in maintaining a passion for mentoring students interested in Healthcare.
