Speaker's Profile

Michael Brodsky is Senior Medical Director for Community Health at L.A. Care Health Plan, the nation’s largest publicly-operated health plan. He has led behavioral health teams in both for-profit and non-profit managed care plans. Prior to his work in managed care, Dr. Brodsky worked as a psychiatrist and medical director in County mental health, a Federally Qualified Health Center, and a residential treatment center. He attended medical school at Yale University and completed training in adult and child psychiatry at UCLA. Dr. Brodsky is a former Leadership Fellow of the California Health Care Foundation and Rock Sleyster Scholar of the American Medical Association.
