Speaker's Profile

Pushkar Joshi is the Chief Strategy & Science Officer at the mental health nonprofit, One Mind. Pushkar works at the intersection of brain research, entrepreneurship, and strategic communications, to accelerate breakthroughs in our understanding of brain disorders and their diagnosis and treatments.

Prior to joining One Mind, Pushkar was the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Palo Alto-based neurotechnology startup, Inscopix, where he led corporate strategy, partnerships, and strategic communications.

Pushkar is a developmental neurobiologist by training. He received his BA in Cell Biology & Neuroscience from Rutgers University, PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford. Pushkar is an alumnus of the Christine Mirzayan Science & Technology Policy Program at the National Academy of Sciences and the Program in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
