Tyler G. Jones, MD is the Senior Medical Director at Optum. He formerly was the Chief Medical Officer of Behavioral Health at Banner Health. He previously served as a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at Oregon Health & Science University, and the Chief Medical Officer for Oregon State Hospital. He also served as the Chief Medical Officer for the Department of Behavioral Health and Chief of Psychiatry at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC, and as the Associate Program Director of the forensic fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.

He has been an expert and consultant to state and federal government agencies. Dr. Jones is a nationally recognized public speaker, giving lectures and seminars to organizations and academic programs.

Dr. Jones is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with Certification in the Subspecialty of Forensic Psychiatry.
