Autism Advocate and Mom
Victoria Turley is an autism advocate, military spouse, and a proud mom of 2 young children. Her oldest son Rowan is a thriving 10-year-old who was diagnosed with autism at age 2. Early in their journey with autism, Victoria and her husband Chris found Dr. Suzanne Goh and the interdisciplinary team at Cortica. Since the very beginning, they’ve been actively engaged in Rowan’s comprehensive care program at Cortica, where Rowan has received whole-child care that has spanned medical services, Applied Behavioral Analysis, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Music Therapy, Family Counseling, school support, community recreational experiences, and social groups. When Cortica opened a center in Texas, the Turley family moved from San Diego to College Station, TX, and Rowan has continued to receive care with the Cortica team in Houston. Victoria’s husband Chris is active-duty in the military, currently deployed overseas.
As a passionate autism advocate, Victoria is eager to pass on her savviness to other parents searching for a whole-child approach for their children. She is especially dedicated to drawing on her own experiences navigating the complexities of insurance to help other caregivers.
