Yates is currently a Senior Advisor on Indian Health Services for Kauffman and Associates and a children’s book author. She previously worked as an executive leading primary care and behavioral health programming in Alaska, California, and Oregon. She contributed significantly to the well-being of individuals and communities in her roles as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer. Her recent initiatives have focused on the unhoused. Developing and implementing street outreach programs and Transitional Emergency Shelters. Her work on providing mental health and substance use treatment in residential and outpatient settings for Alaska’s largest behavioral health provider reached more than 65,000 lives. Yates believes emotional, spiritual, physical, and social wellness is possible through mentoring, coaching and connection to one another. Utilizing technology is key to that success and healing.
