Corbin Petro is a prominent CEO, entrepreneur, and mission-driven leader recognized for her role advancing value-based care, particularly for underserved populations. She serves as an independent and trusted Advisor & Board Member to PE/VC firms and mission-driven organizations in both the public and private sectors. Corbin is the founding CEO of Eleanor Health, an organization providing evidence-based, whole person care for individuals and populations with substance use disorder and mental health needs. She founded and led Eleanor Health as CEO through its Series C funding, bringing on top-tier investors and raising more than $100M to change both the care model and payment systems for an often-overlooked population. Prior to Eleanor Health, Corbin was the founding CEO of Benevera Health, a payer-provider JV and population health company. As CEO, she oversaw both Harvard Pilgrim’s NH insurance business ($650M) and a newly created population health company. Corbin has an extensive background in healthcare including serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Massachusetts Dept of Medicaid, a $13B agency providing health care to 1.4M Massachusetts residents; advising a US Senator on healthcare reform; and roles at Bain & Company, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte Consulting, and American Management Systems. Corbin was honored to be one of fifteen healthcare executives under 40 named a “2018 Up and Comer” by Modern Healthcare. She received a BA from Yale University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Corbin lives in the greater Boston area with her wife and two sons.
