Co-Founder and Medical Director, Skylight Psychedelics
Dr. Dana Lerman earned her M.D. from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, completed her Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, and an Infectious Disease fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. With over ten years as an infectious disease consultant, she founded The COVID Consultants, a national COVID-19 firm. Burnout and personal suffering led her to explore mental wellness, beginning with an ayahuasca ceremony. This pivotal experience shifted her focus to psychedelic-assisted therapy. Dr. Lerman’s extensive personal experience with psychedelics provides unique insights into client experiences. She is trained and certified through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) and is currently undergoing MAPS training via IPI, with additional training in trauma therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Ecotherapy. Dr. Lerman co-founded Skylight Psychedelics, which trains therapists in psychedelic-assisted therapy and prescribes sublingual ketamine for use in trained therapists’ offices. She also supervises with The Zendo Project at Burning Man.
