Speaker's Profile

David Ball is the Sr. Director of SecondMuse's Human Well-being Group, which includes the Headstream Accelerator, Youth Collective, and the newest body of work focused on K-12 student mental health. For the last five years, David has led this work which has enabled over 50 companies and 100 youth co-creators to supporting the mental well-being of more than 5 million LGBTQIA+ teens and youth of color by catalyzing digital health products in the ed-tech, social tech, and digital health systems.

David’s early career as a teacher rooted him in bringing communities together to collaboratively solve complex global challenges. Prior to joining SecondMuse, David worked with public, private, and non-profit sectors across Latin America and East Africa. These programs ranged from the prioritization of education by Major League Baseball in the Dominican Republic to the development of a commercialization and conservation strategy for the US National Park Service.
