Kate Mellor is the Senior Vice President of Payer Strategies and Partnerships at Alma, a company on a mission to simplify access to high-quality, affordable mental health care. Alma’s software platform makes it easy and financially rewarding for therapists to accept insurance, scale their practice, and offer affordable in-network care to people. At Alma, Kate’s work focuses on developing relationships with payers and other partners across the healthcare continuum so that consumers can quickly and easily access behavioral healthcare with Alma. Previously, Kate was the VP of Optum Behavioral Health Client Strategy. Kate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Health Care Administration from La Salle University in Philadelphia. She lives in Montclair, New Jersey with her husband and two children.
