Kay Nikiforova’s (they/them) work focuses on the intersection of health and technology with almost a decade in the digital health space. They’ve advised startups & nonprofits, ideated on & built new technology that increases access to care, and regularly speaks on healthtech-related topics. Most recently as Head of Clinical & Research at Violet, they developed a cultural competence benchmarking system, conducted innovative clinical outcomes research, and created data models to identify quality care & health disparities. They are completing their Clinical Psych PhD, starting a position as a mental health policy fellow at the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, and currently serve as an inaugural member of the newly formed APA Mental Health Tech Advisory Committee. Kay is passionate about leveraging technology and advocacy to create a more equitable healthcare system.
