Nick Mercadante is CEO of PursueCare, a telehealth addiction services provider. PursueCare leverages a ground-breaking virtual care platform to deliver comprehensive treatment for substance use disorder all from a phone. PursueCare partners with health systems and health plans to triage patients into low-cost, convenient virtual care.Mr. Mercadante previously served as President and COO of MedOptions, a national provider of behavioral healthcare to long-term care where he led development of a telehealth program to serve rural facilities. He also worked previously in technology business development for DrugMax, Inc. (now Walgreens), as well as a practicing attorney advising health plan and health system clients. Mr. Mercadante graduated from Tulane Law School and is licensed to practice law in CT, NJ, and TX. He is a member of the American Telemedicine Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, American Health Law Association’s digital affinity group, and the Health Care Compliance Association.
