Speaker's Profile

Stephanie Stitt is the Director of Behavioral Health at CareSource in the Ohio Market. She has spent the last 10+ years working in the behavioral health service field, with experience serving in both the for-profit and nonprofit sectors. In Stephanie’s previous role as Vice President of Emerging Markets at Groups Recover Together, she spearheaded the expansion team in 14+ states through regulatory discovery, team creation, contract implementations and initial stabilization in the new territories. In her current role, Stephanie supports the initiatives, programming and provider relations needs of 1300+ Behavioral Health Providers in Ohio, ensuring quality of care for all members in need. Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree focused on Psychology from the University of Mount Union before obtaining a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Akron where she has been an adjunct professor since 2017. She is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor in the state of Ohio. In addition, she is a sitting board member for the Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation.
