Like Lyra Health in the US, Akoma Health works with employers to provide mental health support for their employees using coaches and therapists for individual, and group therapy.
We are raising for a launch in Nigeria, where 1 in 4 Nigerians suffer from mental illness, but there are only 350 psychiatrists catering to a population of over 200+ million people. We will focus specifically on coaching and therapy, which is in larger supply.”
