Description:

Only 23% of people seek help for mental health issues, and even fewer receive effective care. Traditionally, parity has focused on providing equal access  to treatment for mental health compared to other medical conditions, and that  is its current trajectory. However, more access doesn’t always mean the  treatment provided is up to par. For true parity, access to top-tier  treatment that produces long-term positive outcomes must be accessible. This  talk will dive into the history and expected trajectory of parity. It  addresses how the healthcare industry can adapt to achieve a state of  accessible, quality treatments ensuring sustained positive  outcomes.
