Speaker's Profile

Dr. Angela Colistra brings 20+ years of clinical, educational, research and leadership experience in Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Behavioral Health (BH) care. Her roles include director of behavioral sciences, associate medical director of research, advisor for substance use for Pennsylvania Govenor and Drug and Alcohol Secretary, American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) faculty, and faculty for numerous Project ECHOs. Her more recent faculty lead is with ASAM and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing partnership training the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) workforce on SUDs. She owns and operates Aligned Consulting and Coaching LLC helping organizations with SUD and BH curriculum and provides coaching to women to build careers that support their wellness. Her textbook Equipping the Interdisciplinary Workforce to Treat SUDs and BH: Reducing the Stigma out this month with Springer. She resides in PA with her husband and two sons. She enjoys yoga, juicing, and traveling.
